Why we have home churches

46 Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47

While we do have a central teaching (CT) on Sundays, our church is really a series of home churches in Newark, Pataskala, Pickerington, and Reynoldsburg.   Using the model set forth in Acts 2:46-47, we feel a core component of Christian growth takes place in close-knit small groups that meet in homes, if possible.  In these home churches, we study the Bible, pray, hang out, eat, and sing sometimes.  They typically meet on Thursday evenings.

If you would like to visit one of our home churches, please contact us and we would be glad to give you more information.
