Evidence for God found in morality

There is little doubt that humanity has a capacity for morality, knowing right and wrong.  But where does morality come from?  Is knowing right and wrong a learned behavior where our ancestors figured out that it is better to help a neighbor than to kill them?  Or is there evidence that the only reason we know right and wrong is because we are image bearers of God who perfectly knows right and wrong.
